- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 315 grams sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tablespoon diced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- Juice of half a lime
- Handful of coriander (to taste)
- 1. Prepare the Salmon: Season salmon fillets with oil, black pepper, dark soy sauce, and onion powder.
- 2. Fry the Salmon: Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the seasoned fillets for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 3. Sauté Aromatics: Remove salmon and sauté garlic and ginger in the same pan until fragrant.
- 4. Make the Sauce: Stir in sweet chilli sauce, coriander, and lime juice; simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 5. Coat the Salmon: Return salmon to the pan, coating it generously with the sauce before serving.
