  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 6 oz strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 lb strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan; mix in sugar and crushed pretzels. Press into the bottom of a baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes; cool completely.
  3. Combine jello with boiling water until dissolved; let it cool.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled pretzel crust; refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Mix strawberries into cooled jello; pour over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Chill for 2-3 hours until set, then slice and serve.
