  • Red and blue food coloring
  • 1 (8 ounce) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10 ounce) package white melting chocolate

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease three small baking pans.
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions in a large bowl.
  3. Divide the batter into three bowls—leave one plain and add red food coloring to another and blue to the last.
  4. Pour each colored batter into prepared pans and bake for 14-16 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. Crumble each cooled cake layer into bowls.
  6. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth and mix evenly with each crumbled layer.
  7. Roll small portions from each color into balls and place them on parchment-lined trays.
  8. Chill for 1-2 hours before dipping in melted white chocolate.
  9. Dip each ball in chocolate, then add sprinkles before cooling again for 15 minutes.
