  • 1 package (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 5 tablespoons granulated sugar (divided)
  • 12 ounces fresh raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Grease a baking pan and warm milk with butter until melted.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt; then add the warm milk mixture and egg. Mix until combined.
  3. Gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough; knead for about five minutes.
  4. Let the dough rest while preparing the filling by mixing cream cheese with sugar and vanilla; toss raspberries with cornstarch and lemon zest.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread cream cheese filling, sprinkle raspberries, roll tightly, slice into pieces.
  6. Allow rolls to rise until doubled in size, then bake at 350°F for about 20-25 minutes.
  7. While baking, prepare glaze and drizzle over cooled rolls.
