  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 ounces semisweet baking chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt together the chopped chocolate and butter until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in the sugar, then let cool slightly before adding eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
