  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coarse cane sugar (for rolling)
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon (for rolling)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach filling by cooking diced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and salt over medium heat until thickened.
  2. Cream together room-temperature butter and cream cheese with sugars until fluffy. Add egg, yolk, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt gently until combined.
  4. Chill dough for 30 minutes; then scoop into balls and roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  5. Create an indentation in each ball; fill with peach filling.
  6. Freeze filled cookie dough for 3-4 hours.
  7. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 12-13 minutes until golden.
