  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a towel and let it rise at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  4. Once risen, turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape into a round loaf.
  5. Place on parchment paper, cover lightly, and let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Transfer the dough (with parchment) to a Dutch oven; sprinkle extra sea salt on top if desired.
  7. Bake covered for about 30 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow cooling on a wire rack before slicing.
