  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (or sugar-free chocolate chips)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted roasted peanuts, chopped
  • 12 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice bananas into 1-inch thick pieces. Freeze on a parchment-lined tray for at least an hour.
  2. Soften peanut butter in the microwave if necessary. Mix in honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.
  3. Spread peanut butter on each frozen banana slice and create sandwiches by topping them with another slice.
  4. Melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together until smooth.
