  • 3 cups lightly steamed cauliflower florets
  • 2 cups lightly steamed broccoli florets
  • 12 ounces sliced chicken or turkey sausage
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Sauté the sliced sausage in a skillet until browned; set aside.
  3. In a pot, melt butter over medium heat and add onions; sauté until soft. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in cream cheese until melted, then add heavy whipping cream and simmer until thickened.
  5. Mix in shredded cheddar cheese and season to taste.
  6. Combine cauliflower, broccoli, and sausage in a bowl, pour the cheese sauce over, and mix well.
