  • 8 slices Rye Bread
  • 2 cups Chicken, thinly sliced or shredded
  • 2 cups Swiss Cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups Sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup Thousand Island Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  3. Arrange half of the rye bread in a single layer at the bottom of the dish.
  4. Layer half of the chicken, half of the Swiss cheese, and half of the sauerkraut over the bread. Spread half of the dressing on top.
  5. Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
