  • ½ cup light brown sugar (packed)

  • 1 cup sour cream (room temperature)
  • ¼ cup coarse sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and prepare a muffin tin with grease or liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, oil, vanilla, molasses, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and sour cream; mix well.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients gently until just mixed.
