Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and yeast. Add warm water and stir until a soft, sticky dough forms. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
  2. Gently shape the chilled dough into a ball. Coat an 8-inch cake pan with olive oil and place the dough in the center. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and let rise at room temperature for about 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Remove the wrap, drizzle more olive oil over the dough, then use your fingers to create dimples in the surface. Sprinkle with oregano, basil, and sea salt.
  4. Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling slightly before slicing.
