  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (slightly melted)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup colorful edible confetti or sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat melted butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in sprinkles.
  5. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes, then roll out to about 3/8" thickness and cut into fry shapes.
  6. Freeze shaped cookie fries for about 20 minutes before baking them for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Prepare frosting dip by mixing heavy cream, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
