  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • Optional toppings: jalapeños, chilies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll package instructions. Unroll the crescent dough onto a baking sheet, pressing it into a rectangle.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or turkey) until browned. Drain excess fat and mix in taco seasoning with a splash of water.
  3. In a bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Spread the creamy mixture on the crescent roll crust evenly. Layer on the seasoned meat, followed by diced tomatoes and both cheeses.
  5. Bake in the oven until heated through and cheese is melted (about 10 minutes).
