  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped fresh strawberries
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil, lightly greased.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter.
  3. Stir in the flour, oats, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until combined; reserve 1 cup for topping.
  4. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan for the crust.
  5. In another bowl, combine chopped strawberries with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch; pour over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle reserved crumble mixture on top and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
