  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter. Stir until boiling.
  3. Continue stirring until the mixture reaches 234°F (soft-ball stage).
  4. Remove from heat and mix in chocolate chips, vegan marshmallow creme, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Allow to cool at room temperature for several hours until set.
  7. Lift out using parchment overhang and slice into squares.
