  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar for swirl
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your bundt pan thoroughly.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Alternately mix the dry ingredients with sour cream into the butter mixture until just combined.
  6. For the cinnamon swirl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the bundt pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add remaining batter and top with more cinnamon-sugar. Gently swirl with a knife.
  8. Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow cooling in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
