  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • Mixed bell peppers and peas

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil (if using), black pepper, and salt. Form into meatballs.
  3. Sear meatballs in a skillet until browned on all sides.
  4. In a saucepan, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, water, and minced garlic; simmer until bubbling.
  5. Spread rice in the baking dish; layer with bell peppers and peas. Pour in broth and nestle the meatballs on top. Drizzle with honey garlic sauce.
