  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan well.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, alternating with sour cream.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top, then add the remaining batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
