  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 ½ cups sweetened coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and coconut extracts, then mix in eggs one at a time.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined. Gently fold in most of the coconut flakes.
  5. Drop balls of dough onto prepared sheets and sprinkle with reserved coconut flakes.
