  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by melting butter in a saucepan. Add diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook until softened. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, stir into the filling until thickened.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Flatten each biscuit to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Place about one tablespoon of cooled apple filling in the center of each biscuit. Fold and seal tightly.
  4. Dip each bomb in melted butter then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
